The Ra Material

The professor mentioned a new book was in that I might be interested in. He knew of my proclivity for books about UFO’s and the like. One of the subjects I’m fascinated with. This particular book was titled, From Elsewhere: Being E.T. in America. The title alone was provocative. The book written by a PhD, it was his dissertation. The source material for the dissertation was from L/L Research and The Ra Material books. The The Ra Material was a book I wanted to read. I wrote the book title and authors down in my journal. It was on the list of books to read or buy when the opportunity presented itself.

The following day I was walking by the guard post in the dorm. (North Unit, Florence Az) This guard post was almost never manned. The guard post was enclosed by a wire fence like material on top half and brick on the bottom half. There was a door and a portal for which to slide food trays through. As I walked past the guard post I heard a shout

“Over here”

I looked towards the source of the shout. There was no one there. I noticed several books sitting on the portal of the guard post. On the top was a book about grizzle bears.

I kept walking and wondered if I really heard that shout. There are times I feel like a lightning rod for weird stuff?


On my return trip past the guard post I heard it again.

“Over here”

This time it stopped me dead in my tracks. I did hear that. What’s going on? Why me? Why me and the voices? I walked over to the portal and slid the book about grizzly bears aside. Under that book was The Ra Material . WTF

I grabbed the book and headed to my cubical. There I sat down and began to read. It was hard not to like this book. The book had a message of Acceptance, Forgiveness and Unconditional Love. This is clearly a message from God.

Books with messages of Acceptance, forgiveness and Unconditional Love are messages from God, In my humble opinion. Messages and books about Fear and Obedience… are not messages from God.

This book refers to “god” as “the one infinite creator. That sounds so much better than “God”.

After reading the book I penned a letter to the authors. There was an address for L/L Research. I addressed the letter to the L/L Research and hoped they would pass it along to the authors.

In the letter I admitted to be a humble convict (a convicted marijuana trafficker). I have no wealth or celebrity. My opinion is of no great value or importance to anyone but I let the authors know how I enjoyed the book and it’s message. I praised them for their efforts.

About a week later I received The Ra Material, Book 2, and a copy of L/L Research’s latest Newsletter along with a letter from Carla McCarthy. One of the authors. I was blown away.

I corresponded with the authors frequently for the next two and a half years. Carla wrote a letter on my behalf to the parole board. In that letter she stated to the board she was certain my destiny was to become a writer.

The Ra Material was one of the books that helped form and transform my understanding of “God”.
